The town of Bar Harbor is very pretty, and very old. This clock is from the 1800's. In back of the clock in the red building is, interestingly enough, a clock store. They sell some very nice clocks in there. |
These were a couple of knives that they were selling in one of the stores in town. These are hand-crafted. The store was really cool, Jeckyll and Hyde, I bought a gas mask and a flask in the store as well. The knives were $170 though, and honestly, I couldnt think of a single legitimate use for them, although they would look nice on my mantel! |
Some of the homes on Mt. Desert Island are mansions that I am not used to seeing. I cant imagine what this little hut would go for, but I am willing to bet it makes a nice summer getaway for someone and 70 or 80 of their friends! |
This was one of the dozens of little hidden paths that litter the town of Bar Harbor. They are very pretty, and following them you never really quite know where you will wind up. I am looking forward to going back there someday... |
